Life lately and Marika

Hi there! Hope you guys are all doing well.
It,s been quite a while, right? So, what have I been up to? I study 6 days a week again ( Education system, I officially hate you.) and it is really difficult to keep up with all subjects. It,s actually impossible, so I don,t even try to. I just focus on what,s more important and put all my efforts into learning Swedish and studying Russian literature. Lectures on literature are just amazing. I always look forward to them and leave the classroom feeling oh-so-inspired and grateful.
I think I,m getting tired of my way to the university. Four hours of my life daily, isn,t it crazy? I,ve realized I,m not a city girl at all. The other day I entered the metro and almost felt like crying because of the crowd and noise. These days my biggest wish is to escape from it all, go to the countryside and enjoy silence and peace. When I close my eyes I see secluded beaches and hear the sound of waves. Or I see forests and mountains. Well, I guess it,s time to plan a summer trip.

Ok, I might have no time to study history or general linguistics but I always have time for photography and portraits. Last week I had the privilege to photograph this beautiful girl. How did we meet? It,s quite a story. I saw her for the first time back in autumn when we had a very boring lecture. I just love observing people, you know. When I noticed her sitting near the window I got fascinated by her features and profile. Then English classes started and we got into one group. Imagine how happy I was. I immediately asked her if she wanted to model for me. There is something French about her, at least according to what I consider to be French. And she actually studies French. Oh, and her name is Marika. I did my best to capture her inner beauty. Well, I tried to.
