Anastasia

I try to shoot not only cats :)
Taking portraits is very unusual for me now as I used to take pics of flowers and animals, but it,s so interesting!

Sweet Sixteen!

birthday

Happy and out of focus! :)

Hello, my dear readers!
I know I,m a little bit late with this post about my Birthday, I didn,t have my laptop for 3 days and have spent 3 amazing days without the Internet, you know, we,re all a little bit addicted to the Internet :)
The only problem was that I couldn,t read lovely messages from my friends and tell them: thank you all!
Ok, about my Birthday :) It was a wonderful hot day and it was really really sweet! That cake from the first photo was very very yummy! I spent that day with my parents as I do not like all that crazy parties with friends, it,s not mine.
My exchange partner from Germany has Birthday on the same day! Maybe that,s why we are so close and have so much in common. If you read it, dear, Happy Birthday to you! I love you sooo much! <3
Evgenia and me in spring 2010 when she came to St. Petersburg.

My first day in Wiesbaden with my exchange partner :) Ich liebe dich <3

This year I came to Wiesbaden again to see her, I love you, my sweetheart! You,re the best exchange partner in the world!

Big Hugs!

One day before I,m 16!

Hello, my dear readers! Tomorrow I,ll be 16 and I,m so happy about it!
So, today my friend Anastasia went with me for a walk and I,ve taken some shots of her.
If you read it, dear, thank you for a nice day! It was like a Birthday present for me!

Here I am, sitting on the tree ;)

I was so happy when I found these vintage sunglasses! My mom used to wear them when I was very very small.

I got mustaches!

hypnotized

For today I have smth special. Not that fluffy lovely kitties that I meet every day on the street, but real hungry street cats that live near... near the scrapyard! Street cats that have no food, no owners, no cosy home to sleep...
I was walking as usual with a camera looking for smth interesting to take shots of. Oh, ok, I was looking for cats ;) I met two lovely kitties and took some boring shots. Then I remembered that last year I wanted to capture dogs near the scrapyard and thought: "Ok, I,m a little bit afraid of street dogs but why not to shoot cats there?" And I went to the nearest scrapyard and that,s what I saw: many many cats. They all were trying to run away or hide from me, I,ve never thought that cats can be so wild! First I was shocked by the atmosphere, it,s awful to live there!
I,ve taken shots of this mother cat and her kitten. You know, cats are afraid of me but it looks like they are hypnotized by my camera, they do not run away, they sit and look at me with their crazy eyes. Look, how much is in that eyes of a homeless cat!
Take care of your kitties and have a nice day!

perfect character

I have no ideas of who gives names to all that street cats but I found out that this guy is called Murzik :) I love his eyes and pose so much! This is one of my favourite cats, indifferent to my camera and doesn,t run away, a perfect cat for a photoshoot!
Enjoy your summer days!

after 5 pm

Some days ago I went for a walk with a camera after 5 pm and I,ve realized that it,s the best time for shooting cats :)
Cats were everywhere tired of a hot sunny day. And they were all yawning! This is the best shot I,ve made. All in all I saw 6 cats that day!

tired mother cat

This lovely mother cat lives not far from our country house. Her name is Liza but I,m sure she forgot it already as she is a street cat. We feed her and I can say that she has no problems with food, but sometimes she eats butterflies! :) Yes, lovely sweet cat! Every year she gives birth to kittens. Oh, they are soooo sweet and playful! But they are so wild! I hope next week they won,t hide from me :) I,ve done only some shots of this exhausted mother cat... Next time you,ll see her small kitties! :)

Get your name!

There are lots of cats that are just usual cats. But sometimes if you,re lucky enough you can find a charismatic one. That are cats that have lots of personality.
My aunt tells me that if I shoot so many street cats I can give them names already. How? Use your very first impression! Ok, my first impressions sound always like this: "OH!!! A CAT!" My second impressions are more reasonable but I can do nothing with the fact that they often remind me of other animals.
Black cat on the first photo reminds me of an angry dog :)
The second cat looks like a tiger, maybe that,s because of his stripes, and I love his eyes so much!

A real cat,s story found!

Hi) Today I post pics of this big grey cat and this is exactly what I was looking for! A charismatic cat with it,s own story!
I saw this cat for the first time when I was walking with my friends. I tried to take some photos but he was afraid of us. Ok, I was told thousand times that it,s better to walk with a camera alone to capture smth really interesting! That lovely cat ran away and since then I wished to see him once more. He has so fluffy paws that we called him "a bear".
Next time I was walking alone looking for new cats and how lucky I was when I noticed my "bear" cat sleeping on a bench! Haha, truly, I was sooo happy! A chance that I couldn,t miss!
By the way, I,ve realized recently that with my new camera I take photos of cats more and more often :)
"Bear" woke up and began to yawn. Oh,"Bear", thank you, thank you!
A passerby told me that the name of the cat was Kuzya. His owner died and now all people from the house where he used to live feed him and take care of him. It,s smth better than to be a homeless cat. I like that people in the countryside are so kind and do not leave even animals in troubles.
Kisses,
Vera

completely in love

Hi! For today I have a video with my dog Osya and my new dress. Ok, It,s not brand new, it was in my wardrobe since May already but I didn,t wear it. I,m completely in love with this dress! When I first saw it I thought: "Hmm... Nice, I have to try it on!" When I tried it on I thought: "Hmm... I can,t leave it hear for someone else! It,s mine!" That,s the story :)
And I love my dog!

I was reading a book when I saw my aunt cooking fish for a meal and two cats sitting around her. Cats?! Cats?!!!.... I took my camera and quickly ran there :) You know how I adore shooting cats ;)
This one was afraid of my camera, I took some shots and she ran away)

pretty cat

gueen of fields

Yes, yes, yes! Here I really feel like I,m the queen of fields! ( not very modest, right?) When I walk in that fields every day with my camera I,m the happiest person in the world. But I walk and see no one else. I,m always interested if anybody also notice all that nature beauty that I enjoy everyday. I,ve never seen someone holding a camera. It seems strange to me. Such a lovely, breathtaking, beautiful countryside and nobody who wants to capture it. How can it be possible?
Last year I,ve been given a book about this neighborhood. Our village is called Beseda and here is situated an agricultural College. That College is very old, it,s a huge, impressive brick building, it was build before the World War 2. It attracts some visitors to our village and makes it notable. In that book it was also written  about ancient Slavic tribes that used to live here many centuries ago. So,now I,m not going to speak about that tribes of course, it,s a topic for another post, here I,m going to speak about photos ;)
There were lots of pictures in that book. Ok, that,s good…But! That photos were awful! When I  was reading that book I wanted to cry! How much I love that places! How many photos of them I have! I know every house here! Every tree, every cat… ( yes, “cat,s story” began here) Everything could be ok with that photos but even the quality was poor. Be sure, I envy a person who had a chance to take photos for that book. I,m disappointed: he came here with a camera but the results were more than bad.
Ohhhh, let it be so. I just know that I,m the gueen of these fields!
Big Hugs!
